How Often Should You Post?
How often should you post if you want to grow on social?
Honestly there is no set number, but you do need to be consistent.
I typically post twice a day, sometimes once, on LinkedIn, TikTok & Instagram.
Every day.
Somedays if I’m super busy and haven’t had the time to create new content, I’ll just repurpose old content, but I will post.
When I first started my little social media journey I posted at least 3 times a day (across the 3 platforms), sometimes more. Every single day.
But there was a reason I decided to do this. I wanted to know what type of content worked.
I figured by the time I’d posted 100 times on each platform that I’d have enough insight to see what content was working and what wasn’t.
I could post once per day and it would take me 100 days to have enough data, or I could post 3 times per day and have that data in about a month.
That was my logic for posting so frequently.
I analysed what style of video, length of video and even what hooks and topics (within my niche) had the most engagement so I could do more of the same.
I even had one video that got me 18,000 new followers on TikTok. A single video really can be that powerful.
But remember those people only decided to follow because they related to that specific video but because they were also interested in my niche, all of my content was of a similar topic.
So how often should you post?
It’s whatever works for you, as long as your consistent. There’s no point posting three times per day for a week and then not posting for days or weeks.
"But how do I come up with so many content ideas to post so often?” you’re probably asking yourself.
There’s a few methods I use including batching, repurposing and reacting.
But that’s another post entirely.
Make sure to subsribe so you don’t miss it.
